Around 200 anthropologists from 25 countries took part in the long-awaited meeting in Liverpool in June – we had four days of animated discussion, debate and conviviality – as well as the official programme!
The team is now now working on the formation of the new hunter-gatherer research society (our name is yet to be confirmed) with its own dedicated journal. Watch this space! Meanwhile we wish Khaled Hakami the best of luck with organising the next one, CHaGS 11, in Vienna in 2015. We are all looking forward to it.
Thank you to our sponsors
Once again we’d like to thank the Wenner-Gren Foundation for helping to make this great event possible, also NSF USA and the publisher of Before Farming.
